Tubris Hotel - Campo Tures (BZ)

The Hotel

The Tubris hotel is a 4-star family run hotel, with its own underground parking, located in the center of Campo Tures, immediately behind the pedestrian area, but also reachable by car. The building where the hotel is located is integrated with the homonymous shopping center (Tubris) where you can find fashion shops, sporting goods, a bike rental and a supermarket. The hotel can offer rooms in various treatments (B & B or pension) but also equipped apartments with kitchen in Aparthotel formula.

The wellness center

From the hotel's atrium, going down the stairs, at the first basement level there is a door that gives access to the locker room area, with cabins, lockers and showers. From here a double "saloon" style door of western movies gives access to the swimming pool, a 12x6 tank with water kept at a constant temperature of 30° degrees. This is a textile area.

Next to the locker room door a spiral staircase allows you to go down to the second basement level. Here via a frosted glass door leads to the hotel's small spa. This is a naked area: a bilingual sign (German and Italian) on the glass door reminds guests that in the saunas you must access without costume and with a towel to cover the seat".

The wellness center consists of a sauna with a dozen seats, a Turkish bath, two small tubs for hydromassage of feet, normal and emotional showers, two single tubs for jacuzzi (functioning with a token purchased at reception, cost 7 euros) and a relaxation area with some sunbeds. Clean towels are always available on a bench, so those staying at the hotel can comfortably come down with only a bathrobe.

Our experience

Since we are passionate about the mountains and attend the Cron4 and Cascade wellness centers quite often, we often stay in the area between Brunico and Campo Tures and have found a good level of accommodation in the Tubris hotel.

The wellness of the hotel center, open in the time slot from 16:00 to 18:30, is small but equipped with everything you need. During our last summer vacation, returning from the morning trek, we spent pleasant moments in total relaxation.

Some tips for managers:

- modify the sign at the entrance adding also indications in English; a couple of English people, probably not very accustomed to the use of the sauna, entered the cabin with their bathing suit and lay down on the benches without a towel

- apply a sign with the indications also on the doors of the cabins

- better inform customers on the fact that the wellness center is "naked area", some guests often "forget" it and access the cabins with the swimsuit .....
